Many CCA groups were busy setting up their respective CCA boothes and stalls on10th January 2009. The atmosphere was abuzzed with the excitement of promoting their various clubs and societies to the Sec 1 students.

The efforts of the students were much appreciated, as the Sec 1s watched each booth in awe. The computer club was a great example, with many students crowing around their booth, marvelling at the different types of programmes available.

The uniformed groups, smartly garbed in their attired, were proud to be of service to the young Crescentians, taking pains to describe their CCA and explain about the variety of activities involved. The NPCC received much attention, with the officers showcasing their equipment and rifles. The Red Cross was not to be outdone either. They demonstrated how to apply First Aid for emergency purposes and educated about medical procedure.

However, the centre of attention had to be the Modern Dance Group.

The dancers enthralled many students with their shimmering costumes and graceful dancing and their performances won much enthusiastic applause by the spectators. To add to the festivity, members of ELDDS also ambled about the school grounds in eye-catching costumes and fascinating masks for dramatic moments.
To ensure that the occasion was memorable, the CCAs gave out souvenirs to all who visited their booths. Exquisite items like marshmallow dipped with chocolate sauce, key chains and stickers were given out at a seemingly inexhaustible rate.
This annual event was no doubt an unforgettable one for many. All in all, the CCA Open House was a big success!
